Services for Ruth Armstrong, 87, of Lone Oak will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Armstrong died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Armstrong was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a native of Dover, Tenn.
Survivors include one daughter, Terri Waldridge of Brookport, Ill.; one sister, Lois Williams of Clarksville, Tenn.; one grandson, Cole Waldridge of Brookport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Armstrong; two sisters; and one brother. Her parents were Stonewall Futrell and Lou Tisha Bilbrey Futrell.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
