Velma Lynn Myre, 79, of Paducah, passed away peacefully Friday night, March 29, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Myre was retired from Wal-Mart (southside), where she worked for eighteen years. She formerly worked at Cobb Brothers Wholesale Drug Company. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Surviving are four sons, Richard Baldwin of Cunningham, Stephen (Lisa) Baldwin of Murphreesboro, Tenn., Daniel (Theresa) Leonard of Texas, and Randall (Jenny) Myre of Paducah; two brothers, Ray Colley of Las Vegas and James (Phyllis) Colley of Paducah; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cliff Baldwin, Bill Leonard, Tommy Myre, Jim Hunt, and James Bradford; and one brother, Eugene Taylor.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
