Violet Purcell

KUTTAWA, Ky. - Violet Purcell, 84, of Kuttawa, formerly of Paducah, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa.
Mrs. Purcell was a native of Paducah. She was a member of the Eastside Holiness Church and was the owner and operator of Purcell's Boarding Kennel.
She is survived by her daughter, Loma Jean McKinney of Freemont; one son, Raymond L. Purcell and wife Faye of Eddyville, Ky.; five grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; five great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Purcell; her parents, Homer Heflin and Bessie McNeal Heflin; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
