Virginia Davis, 95, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 6:45 AM Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church, belonged to several homemakers clubs, was an avid quilter, accomplished seamstress and enjoyed painting and cross stitching.
Mrs. Davis is survived by two daughters, Carol (Karl) Koster of Newburgh, IN and Myra (Mike) Flood of Paducah; two sisters, Christine Deweese and Joyce Turner; one brother, Earl Hays; four grandchildren, Kendra (David) Gehring, Karleigh Koster, Michael Flood and Mitch (Kelly) Flood; seven great-grandchildren, Madeline Flood, Cody Flood, Alexis Gehring, Isabelle Gehring, Riley Flood, Bennett Flood and Carter Flood; three sisters-in-law; one brother–in-law and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin E. Davis; her parents, Eunice and Sammie Barriger Hays; two sisters, Isabelle Hunt and Nadine Burnett; three brothers, Stanford Hays, Kent Hays and E.J. Hayes.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Dr. Ben Boone officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the Memorial service hour on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
