W. McGary

W. Leon McGary, 91, of Paducah, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away at 9:20 am on July 8, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Mr. McGary was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran and he owned and operated his own business in Memphis, TN, before retiring back home in Paducah.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 67 years, Wanda Pendergrass McGary; aunt, Bertha Gardner of Hickory, KY; three nephews, Kevin, Bruce, and Kent McGary; and half sister, Ruth Marler; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozetta McGary Gardner and Herchel McGary; step father, Horace Gardner; one brother, James McGary; two aunts, Reba Gardner and Onie Gardner; and half-brother, H. McGary.

A graveside service for Mr. McGary will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Mr. Dan Owen and Mr. Andy Clausen officiating.

The Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
