W.E. "Ed" Burnham, 92 of Paducah died Friday at 3:50 p.m. at Mills Manor Health & Rehab of Mayfield, Ky.
He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Rolling Hills Country Club, and member of Board of Directors, Elks Lodge. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. He was retired from L&N Railroad.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. George Jaeger officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Monday, April 4, 2011, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Rena Lucy Burnham; two daughters, Trudye Pember, (Michael) Mayfield, Ky., and Sheila Brooks, (Bill) Leesburg, Va.; one son, Larry Burnham, (Karen) Bowling Green, Ky., three stepsons, Royce A. Babb (Ruth), Hickman, Ky., Billy Wayne Babb (Colleen), Chicago, Ill., Tommy Babb (Shirley), Martin, Tenn., ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grand-children, six stepgrandchildren, eight stepgreat-grandchildren and three stepgreat-great- grandchildren.
Preceding in death were his first wife, Mary LaVeine Weatherington Burnham; parents, Frank and Trudie Nolan Burnham; and one sister, Jane Burnham Jones.
