Willie Mae "Billie" Jamison, age 78, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 12:30 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
A native of Central City, Ky., Billie was born February 2, 1931, to the late Edwin Clagett Hancock and Eva Mae Fleming Hancock. Billie was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church; she was a homemaker and a former member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her children, a daughter, Brenda Jamison Utley and husband, Don, of Paducah, Ky., and two sons, Steve Jamison and wife, Margaret, of Boonville, Ind., and Ed Jamison and wife, Vickie, of Benton, Ky.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. "Bob" Jamison; her parents; and one brother, Edwin Hancock.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
